Do all events have age requirements?

No. AQUAD events are each custom designed to achieve the primary and secondary goals of the event. Events having an age requirement are promoted on this site as having an age requirement. Any event advertised with an age requirement will be monitored to ensure 100% age compliance for admittance to the event. Compliance with age requirements is achieved using a 2 step approach.

  • Age verification software is used at the time of on-line ticket purchase.

  • All attendees, regardless of age, shall be required to present valid government issued photo identification with their ticket for admittance.
     

DOes AQUAD work with individuals or families for special needs items

Yes. AQUAD can structure events for ADA home or vehicle modifications or for durable medical equipment. AQUAD can develop and execute a fund raising event, in many cases, faster than insurance companies can review and approve payment for much needed equipment or services.

Prohibited Items

Knives, weapons of any type, including firearms are not permitted on the event grounds at any time. Law enforcement personnel are the only persons not subject to this weapons prohibition.

Controlled substances, including recreational drugs and associated paraphernalia as defined by the more restrictive federal, state or local law are prohibited on the event grounds at any time. Persons with a valid prescription may posses only that amount prescribed and reasonably expected to be administered during the event.

Unless otherwise identified by the Event as a “Special Condition” - Clothing deemed solely by the event organizer to be offensive to good order and discipline will not be permitted in the event. Examples of inappropriate clothing or head-wear include, but are not limited to, political, ethnic, religious, or racial words or images deemed generally likely to be offensive, confrontational or in poor taste. If in doubt, bring an alternate piece of clothing void of pictures, words or images that can replace or be slipped over the prohibited clothing. No shoes, no shirt, no service. You are welcome to exercise you free speech attire outside the perimeter of the event. Examples of acceptable attire —- anything else you would feel comfortable wearing provided 100% of genitalia is covered.

Alcohol not provided as part of the event can neither be brought into the event nor consumed on the premises. The exceptions to the restriction on outside alcohol are events identified as BYOB. Any person exhibiting signs of intoxication will not be served at the event.
 

USE of recording devices

Events where audio or visual images are restricted will be advertised with those event restrictions. Personal cameras and video devices are generally permitted. Please exercise good judgement and courtesy when taking photographs and when sharing them on social media. AQUAD is not responsible for images captured or published by others. AQUAD will capture multiple images and audio recordings of events and event activities. AQUAD will not publish images or audio with recognizable people without a signed release.

tobacco/nicotine

Every event will have a designated smoking area or areas. Use of tobacco, as defined herein, is limited to designated smoking area(s). AQUAD events are generally non-smoking/ tobacco/ nicotine free events. Tobacco is defined herein to include chew, snuff, cigarettes, cigars, pipe and smokeless vapor delivery of nicotine. Events without smoking restrictions will be advertised as such.
 

What if it rains or my car breaks down?

Donations and ticket sales are non-refundable. All events are rain or shine unless otherwise specifically advertised by this site as having an alternate date. AQUAD will execute the event in good faith unless forced to close by an officially announced state of emergency or at the direction of local authorities. In special circumstances, AQUAD Fundraising reserves the right to allow a partial or full credit for an unused ticket to be credited toward the purchase of a future ticket.
